What will you be doing?

You’ll develop your understanding of local and international tax laws, and gain a greater breadth of knowledge by:

  • Working across various specialist tax teams within UK & Ireland or Financial Services
  • Working directly on tax reporting, technical research, data analysis and calculating tax payments alongside senior colleagues
  • Building important relationships with clients

You’ll also gain a host of transferable skills, and you’ll receive on-the-job coaching and support from a careers counsellor to ensure that you reach your potential.

The requirements

You’ll need a minimum of Level 2/GCSE (or equivalents) in English Language & maths and to have completed three A-Levels, five Scottish Highers or equivalents by the time the programme starts.

You’ll work as part of small high-performing teams, so team working, excellent communication skills, organisation skills, attention to detail as well as be able to think critically, is essential.

You will need to be able to work well with others. Determination, ambition, energy and enthusiasm are also essential in this role.
