Atkins Work Experience Programmes

An Atkins work experience programme is an excellent opportunity for young people like you to improve your employability skills, make new friends, increase your professional network and build your confidence.
During this placement that usually lasts between one and two weeks, you’ll spend time in the office you’ve chosen, shadowing and working alongside experience Atkins employees.

Atkins Apprenticeship Programmes

Join an Atkins apprenticeship programme, and you’ll be welcomed into a world of opportunity with their engineering careers. Alongside earning a very competitive salary, you’ll be working on complex projects for major clients while while studying towards nationally recognised qualifications and accreditations.

Atkins Internship Programmes

If you’re currently studying for a degree, Atkins offers an 8-week summer internship as well as 12-month industrial placement. Both of these are great pathways to give your career a head start while you’re at university.

As part of these paid undergraduate opportunities, you’ll gain valuable technical support to support your degree and have direct access to some of the complex projects for major clients.

The Graduate Development Programme (GDP) with Atkins is a three-year framework, designed to help you develop the skills and knowledge you need to progress through your early careers and subsequently achieve professional registration.
